The University of Greenwich is a public university located in London and Kent, United Kingdom. Previous names include Woolwich Polytechnic and Thames Polytechnic.

The university’s main campus is at the Old Royal Naval College, which along with its Avery Hill campus, is located in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. Greenwich also has a satellite campus in Medway, Kent, as part of a shared campus.The university’s range of subjects includes architecture, business, computing, mathematics, education, engineering, humanities, maritime studies, natural sciences, pharmacy and social sciences. Greenwich’s alumni include two Nobel laureates. It received a Silver rating in the UK government’s Teaching Excellence Framework.

Fees Currently £9,250 for home full-time students. Fees for standard courses are £14,000 for international students.

The International Scholarship scheme: A range of scholarships available from £1,000 up to £3,000. The amount awarded is based on entry level, undergraduate or postgraduate.

The Greenwich Bursary: up to £700 for new undergraduate students with a low household income. This bursary is assessed and awarded automatically by the student fees and funding team.

Commuter Bursary: Up to £1,000 per academic year. For new students from low-income households who face challenging travel costs to attend university.

Accommodation Prices vary by campus. A small ensuite room at Avery Hill will cost you £118.37 per week. All first year, full-time students who apply by the deadline are guaranteed places in halls.

Although there are a small number of twin rooms and studios available, the majority of rooms in halls are single bedrooms with either shared or en-suite shower/toilet facilities. Private rooms are available through the university’s accommodation partner, Studentpad.
